Does using anti wrinkle creams at an early age prevent them from happening?

am 20 and am terrified of getting wrinkles, I'd never use botox so would it be a good thing that I start using anti wrinkle creams and lifting products now..Does using anti wrinkle creams at an early age prevent them from happening?
I think most sales woman would say yes if they want a sale and that stuff is expensive! The best advice is to wear sunscreen(even in the winter) because it's the sun that is most damaging for skin.
