Does anti-ageing cream really work?

Why do so many people use it, if it doesn't? Is there a religious reason why they would believe that it works?Does anti-ageing cream really work?
I do not believe that this question is either religious or spiritual! However many people worship the God of advertising and believeth in the commerce!

I believe that anti-ageing creams, like some religions are positively harmful. I was told by a senior nurse whose specialism was dermatology never to use products containing AHAs or hyalyronic (Sorry expect I spelled that wrong) acid as they are carcinogenic!Does anti-ageing cream really work?
Nothing stops anyone from aging....Ask Joan Rivers, she can afford any cream she likes but nothing, NOTHING is holding back her age no matter how much she gets her face stapled!
Yes

(45 and satisfied with it)

Edit:

LOL Kira
apparently so. i, personally think good living writes a beautiful story on our faces :) and, i have always liked reading.
It's the triumph of hope over experience

Much like religion, in fact
well...since we buy anti-aging creams at the pharmacy instead of say....a christian book store i don't see how the two relate.
