If you have oily skin, maybe after 35-yr-old. For dry skin, after 25 and normal skin, after 30. But for the eye area, use a non-clogging and oil-free product as early as 20.

I haven't used lancome but I would say middle to late 20's you should start with the antiage products, better to start early :)
For women I would say 29 because they tend to be so vain and overconcerned with their looks, theres no hiding old sister.

you can try Amotokin. its pretty pricey at i believe $150. i am 20 and i use it to prevent wrinkles and it works really well. u can get it at dillards but ask a rep if it would work well on your skin before u waste your money. there is also one by elizabeth arden that is suppose to be really good called prevage. this older lady (late 40s) that i worked with used it and u could def. see a difference in her skins tone, texture etc. hope i helped!!What is a good wrinkle cream for over 50s. I am a male trying to take better care of my face since that seems to be the new thing and also I think its time to start giving it thought. Would like a moisturizer or anti-wrinkle cream. Or maybe I shouldn't be worrying about these things at the age of 25? What do you recommend? Can you recommend any specific products? well, the best way to stop wrinkles is to wear sunscreen. At least around wrinkle prone areas, eyes, jaw, forehead, neck and the back of the hands. I'm 25 and i use Aveeno Positively ageless daily moisturizer with spf 30 uva/uvb protection. since it is thicker I only use that around my eyes, neck, hands, but on the rest of my faceI use Olay age defying anti-wrinkle daily spf 15 lotion.

There was a programme I saw on TV 2 days ago where they did a UV scan on a 17 year old girl wanting to be a model and found that she had a fair bit of UV spots on her skin even though she looked great. It meant that she would age faster. The dermatologist told her to start using a sunscreen straight away - every day, even on cloudy days.
my mum has used olay since she was in her 20 shes 60 now and has the softest skin ever unfortunately she has very many wrinkles so it didnt work for that-i honestly dont think any of them do-those that r fortunate to have good un wrinkled skin would have that skin whether they used creams or not-its a billion pound industry sadly i dont think any of it works

any nivea, olay or other proffessional creme is good or just try marks and spencer anti aging creme works almost as well as proffesional brands or use good ol' E45...non allergenic moisureiser
The cheapest of moisturisers work just as well as the expensive ones - seriously. Recently a large cosmetic company was fined in court for making claims it could not substantiate. Basically all anti-aging creams cannot improve wrinkles as they do not penetrate deep enough for their ingredients to have any effect. They can only claim to improve the appearance of wrinkles, not improve wrinkles.

The tricky thing about vitamin C serums is that vitamin C degrades quickly. Stable products w/ high concentration vitamin C I've heard of carry a hefty price tag.

have you tried Oil of Olay? - thats very gentle and their day moisturiser is lovely...not sure though that anything slows the ageing process...but it does moisturise %26amp; make you skin feel nice. oh - its called Total Effects 7..just got the pot out of the bedroom!!
First of all, to PREVENT those lines from appearing, you need a good sunscreen for sensitive skin. Coppertone makes a good one for the face.
Also, Oil of Olay has good anti-aging products as well as moisturizers with sun protection. There are versions of all of these for sensitive skin.

Basically no, but there are some things that could help. Those aha creams at the drug store do work a little, but so little that probably only you can tell. Always have a sunblock on, either from your foundation or face cream, that is Number 1. But when time does its thing on your face, there's not too much to do. I am thinking about a acid peel for my face. It is probably one of the next best things to an actual face life. Those aha creams in the stores are about 8 - 12 percent aha (alpha hydroxy acid), then there is a higher phase of 20 percent, perhaps from salons, or a place where people know the product and tell you carefully how to use it. Then there is a 40 percent that is only available at a medi-type of spa, which means that there is a qualified nurse or doctor in case something goes wrong. You look burnt and peeling for a week, then red for a month, then you look a few years younger. I was checking into this laser non evasive face lift and the receptionist told me that it works but your skin gets thicker. So I think this means that there is scar tissue underneath your skin where the laser was burning it. I use natural face creams that I make myself, because chemicals lower your immune system which means you will age faster. So although I don't have so many wrinkles, crows feet though, I do have the start of sagging under my chin, which I hate. I'm thinking of getting that lasered as I think if the skin was thicker there, that wouldn't be so bad. I've done a lot of research trying to find the answer but there isn't any clear one. Also, when I was trying those 8 - 12 percent lotions, they had this little effect, and after two months I decided to stop using it, and I got this line on my face between my eye and hairline that wasn't there before. This was because the lotion causes a slow burn, which makes your skin send fluids to the surface, (like in a real burn), then when I stopped the fluids were leaving and caused an indented line until the rest of my face got rid of the fluids then it went away. There is always a side effect. I might also suggest Avon Anew Ultimate Premium Elixir. This is suppose to make you drop 10 years off your face. I have used the regular elixir and it works. This is higher in concentration so its suppose to be superior. It retails for about $55 I think. Ebay for $20-30.

don't use creams. use lotions. i started using an eye jel when i was in late 20's. the lotion i reccomemd is St. Ives (collegen and elastin) over the counter. i ahve used this for 15 years. and use an eye jel , a good brand . actually ponds is a good one. and cheap

So, I went to the store and bought this Loreal Eye Defense cream that is supposed to reduce puffiness, sooth fine lines and wrinkles, and diminish dark circles. the directions say to apply in the pm and am bare or under makeup. I have been using it and it seems to help a little. But what I didn't realize when I bought it was that is is ';specially formulated to defend against signs of premature aging'; which is not a problem for me, being only 18. Is it okay for me to still use this, I heard that if you use anti aging creams in your teens you will get more wrinkles and stuff when you get older. Hi There, i have always used a good moisturiing day cream with spf daily till now but now i feel that i need some sort of coverage also ...so my thoughts have gone to the tinted moisturiser.....now the thing with tinted moisturiser is that i might not need to use a day cream as it is already moisturising.....

why?the models are all 25 year old women.they dont use real women do they?not the 50 year olds that its based for.
and i doubt it works for men if they use it either.so it does not work for men,women or transgender either.its waste of money a total con.

It would have the same effect as it does on women who usually buy anti-ageing creams....absolutely zero effect.
I wish people would accept that they cost a fortune but are essentially worthless.
Skin is skin, trans gender or not, the results would be the same.
They would probably suddenly look more like G.W. Bush or T. Blair.
